Food photography is defenitely one of my favourites, especially when food is made by such a talented chef as Aleksandra from Chef and the city. Here are some appetizers shots that I took during one year anniversary celebration at Rocycle Studios

Blini with salmon and horseradish cream

Fig wrapped in Serrano ham with balsamic reduction

Fresh spring roll with mixed vegetables and shrimps

Spanish cold soup made with Roma tomatoes, yellow bell peppers and sourdough bread

Summer is on its way and so are the festivals. One of my favourite festivals is Georgie’s Wundergarten. From the moment it landed on Amsterdam’s sophisticated festival ground I didn’t miss a single edition with the exception of the last year. Will never make this mistake again!

Today I found lost and forgotten folder ‘GW 2015’ full with never-published analogue pictures I took two years ago at Ruigoord during the festival.

Pictures have a magic power of bringing memories, emotions and feelings back, and in this case it was smiles, laughs, beautiful people, sweet tunes, rays of sunlight and LOVE only. Hope you enjoy the pictures and your memories will be as warm and sunny as mine on this grey rainy day.

Two weeks ago I had a chance to be present at Guhl Long Lasting Volume product launch, where my good friend and the owner of Chef and the city was working on her all blue everything masterpiece. Blue is a very rare colour when it comes to food, and I can’t even imagine how much effort, patience and creativity it took to construct this incredible multilayer food pyramid consisting both of sweet savoury elements. So beautiful, that eating it feels almost like vandalism :)
